Victor W. Williams

Victor W. Williams, age 59, of 824 No. 12th Street, Quincy, died on Thursday, February 23, 2012 in Blessing Hospital. Victor was born on September 11, 1952 in Carbondale, IL, a son of Harry & Rosemary (Carlock) Williams.

Victor worked at Friendship Manor Retirement Home in Lincoln, IL for several years. He then went on to be a customer service assistant at Lowe’s in Hannibal. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking and listening to music, especially Pink Floyd.

Survivors include his fiancee, Carrie Berglin – Fletcher of Quincy; a daughter, Paige Fletcher of Quincy; two brothers, Jeff (Brandi) Williams of Eureka, IL and Darryl (Patricia) Williams of Germany; three sisters, Roselyn (Darwyn) Behrends of Mason City, IL, Mary Louise Lopez of CA and Donna (Dan) Hageman of Catlin, IL. Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Mark Williams.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 2, 2012 at Friendship Manor in Lincoln, IL from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friends are invited to attend this memorial service. Memorials may be made to The Family. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
