Victor E. Reagan Obituary
Victor E. Reagan age 95, of 3632 Briarwood, Quincy, died on Saturday, February 9, 2008 at 8:45 a.m. in Sunset Home. Victor was born on May 17, 1912 a son of John and Amanda (Oelrich) Reagan. He married Rosemary Renier on June 25, 1940, and she passed away October 1, 2002.
Victor owned and operated Vic’s Tavern for 33 years and Vic’s Mobile Home Park for 20 years.
He served in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.
He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Parish. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus,
the American Legion Post #37 and the Illinois Sheriffs Association. Vic enjoyed traveling, fishing and being outdoors.
Survivors include, two daughters, Teresa Blank of Ventura, CA and Mary C. Sprinkle and her husband
Michael of Chatham, IL; a son, Eugene Reagan and his wife Patricia of Quincy;
seven grandchildren, Paul Reagan and Kim Neumann both of Quincy; Christine Reagan Loh and her husband Peter of Dallas, TX; Brandon Hefer and his wife Noa of St. Louis, MO; Lauren Hefer of Chatham; Michael Blank and his wife Abigail of Oak Park, CA and Stephen Blank of Ventura, CA;
nine great grandchildren, Blaine, Blake, Kayla and Bailey Neumann of Quincy; Jonathan, Peter, Jr. and Samuel Reagan Loh of Dallas, TX ; Jalen and Neala Blank of Oak Park, CA;
step-grandchildren, Robert Sprinkle and Nicole Filbrun; step-great grandaughter, Amya Filbrun;
sisters in law, Margaret Renier, Mildred Meyer, Claudine Hermann, Irene Timmerwilke and Teresa Bast.
He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Rosemary, a son, Jay, brothers, James, Joseph, Dennis, Alexander, Leo and John; one sister, Catherine; brothers in law, Bernard Renier, Julius Meyer, Paul Hermann, Robert Timmerwilke and Harry Bast.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 14, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. in the Duker & Haugh
Funeral Home and 10:00 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Parish by the Msgr. Michael Kuse.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, with military honors conducted by the American Legion Post #37. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. there will be a parish prayer service at 4:00 p.m
Memorials are suggested to Blessed Sacrament Parish or to Sunset Home.
