Troy E. Kindhart

Troy E. Kindhart age 70, of 4502 West 5th St. Quincy, died on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 7:23 p.m. in the Emergency Room of Blessing Hospital. Troy was born on November 13, 1938 near Huntsville, IL a son of Troy and Imogene (Lamma)
Kindhart. He married Jean McDowell and she survives.

Troy served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Troy was a contractor, auctioneer and antiques dealer. He was a skilled woodworker. He also liked meeting people and he loved helping whomever he could. He loved his family and friends, he especially loved his grandchildren. He loved taking his camper and his beloved dog “Boy” to Bear Creek.

In addition to his wife Jean, survivors also include: a son, Melvin Kindhart and his fiancee Adriane Schmitz, a daughter Melissa Haugh all of Quincy;
Eight Sisters and One Brother, Mae Daggett; Barb (Bob) Carnes of Liberty, IL;
Edna Pearl Kelly; Shirley Lepper, Norma Reed, Sharon (Bob) Cain; Rhonda (Rocky) Murry, John Kindhart and his fiancee Dena Coffey; Betty Lou (Rocky) Poland all of Quincy;
grandchildren: Melvin, Riki and Chrissy Kindhart; and Katie Devers; great grandchildren, Carter Spidle, Rowdy Troy Kindhart; Hayden Schmidt; Johnathan Rockwell, Liam Hudelson; Juan Conde;
baby Melvin Kindhart; Anthony, Aden, and Ashton Page;
In-Laws, Mary & Earl Weitnauer of Quincy,
Brothers & Sisters-in-Laws, Jody (Terry) Pryor; Mary Ann Shaw and Donald (Cindy) McDowell all of Missouri and a special friend Kevin Gordy also survives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Christine; two brothers Donald and Richard Kindhart and his former wife Elizabeth “Betty” Fischer.

Troy’s family will be having a Memorial Service at the Parson Community Center on Friday, October 23, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. sharp. Friends and loved ones are invited to attend the services.     Aunt Shirley,
    I’m so sorry to hear about your lost and to all of your family. Troy is a wonderful man, I remember the times he use to get me all rouse up, just in fun and games. We use to joke around alot. I know that I will miss him dearly.
