Toby Harrison

Toby J. Harrison, age 59, of the Sunset Home, died on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at 11:56 PM in the Home. He was born on July 30, 1958 in Quincy, IL the son of James & Patty ( Haskins) Harrison. Toby served in the United States Army for ten years. He worked for Keokuk Steel Casting for many years.

Toby attended The Crossing.

He is survived by:
HIS FORMER SPOUSE: Connie Harrison
FIVE CHILDREN: James Raleigh of Quincy; Jacob (Mindi) Raleigh of Lonsdale, MN; Jessi Ott of Newman, IL; Joseph Filipi of Italy; and Tara (George) Redner.
ONE BROTHER: Jimmy (Patty) Harrison
ONE SISTER: Billie (Jim) Harrison.
Numerous grandchildren and other relatives also survive.

Toby was preceded in death by his parents.

Gravesides services will be held on Friday, October 6, 2017 at 10:30 at Sunset Cemetery of the Illinois Veterans Home. Military rites will be conducted at the cemetery by the Army National Guard Honors Detail and the American Legion Post #37. There is no visitation but friends are invited to the graveside services. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

    Toby loved his family and will be missed by us all.Love you Connie Harrison ,James ,Jake ,and Jess.Toby was a fighter not only with his health but for this country.He will never be forgotten.

    Toby was awsome loved him dearly he was apart of my family and never turned his back on me he always a smile on his face im going to miss you and connie im so sorry sweetie i know he loved you so very much hes your angel you guys always lit up ayerco every time he came in there we would laugh and make jokes I sure am going to miss Toby my condolences
