Timothy M. Cannon, age 69, of Quincy, died on Saturday, March 23, 2024 in Blessing Hospital. He was born on October 7, 1954 in Quincy, Illinois the son of Ivy “Buzz” and Wilma (Cookson) Cannon.

Timothy married Lori Cleveland Shear, she proceeded him in death.

Timothy hung up his construction hat professionally many years ago, but still was a jack of all trades helping out anyone in need. In his spare time he enjoyed watching NASCAR, Basketball games and going mushroom hunting. Though most of all, he loved spending his summers going to Six Flags with his late wife.

He is survived by:
FOUR CHILDREN: Mark Cannon (Nicole), Melissa Morgan (Tony), James Cannon (Tasia), Ashley Cannon (Cody) from his first marriage.
GRANDCHILDREN: Ivy, Ian, Mia, Garrett, Megan, Austin, Abby, Devon, Aiden, Cameron, Jace, Braedan, Madison, and Addalyn.
GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Nolan and Tori.
SIBLINGS: Sandy Barnes (Gary), Marsha Gordon, and Linda Humeston.
Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

In addition to his wife, Timothy was also preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation rites will be accorded. A celebration of his life will take place at a later date. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
