Timothy Carl Long, age 62, of Quincy, died on Friday, December 17, 2021, in Blessing Hospital. Timothy was born on July 7, 1959, in Kansas City, Missouri to Carl and Doris (Utterback) Long.

Timothy was a 1977 graduate of Quincy Senior High School. He worked as a Union Carpenter and enjoyed building things, hunting for mushrooms, and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his five children, Joseph Damon, Sara Freeze (Hugh), Ashley Houghton (Daved), Ryan Long (Lizzie) and Amber Kohl (Adam); numerous grandchildren; his siblings, Dennis Landis (Susan), Debbie Simmons (Larry), Shonnie Long (Tammy), Lonnie Long, Joyce Stathem (Ron) and Barbara Frieden (Fred). Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Timothy was preceded in death by his parents and his grandparents.

Cremation has been accorded to Timothy. Interment in Greenmount Cemetery will be held at a later date.
