Timothy A. Moore, age 46, of Quincy died on Friday, January 4, 2019 in Blessing Hospital. He was born on December 17, 1972 in Quincy the son of Darrell and Donetta (Sunderland) Moore.

Tim graduated from Quincy High School and he spent four years in the Marine Corps. He had attained several specialty associate degrees thru John Wood Community College. He held a LPN license, a culinary arts degree and a drug and alcohol counseling license.

Tim attended Bethel Assembly of God Church. He was an avid book reader. He liked to work out at the Kroc Center. Most importantly he was a kind and loving caregiver for his mother.

Tim is survived by his mother; and one sister, Sandi (Eric) Wilson of Peoria, IL; one brother, Shawn (Rainy) Moore of Quincy, IL; one uncle, Michael (Norma) Moore of Quincy; nephews; Taylor Downes, Christopher Logsdon, Michael and Mario Martino, Devon and Derrick Moore and Lennox Moore; nieces: Casandra Siez and Grace Moore and cousins also survive.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Rose Moore, a sister, Tracy Siez and his father.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in Sunset Cemetery with military honors. A private visitation is planned. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
