Thomas W. Hild, age 74, of Payson, died on Thursday, June 15, 2023 in his home. He was born on April 14, 1949 in Quincy the son of Lester and Mary (Horn) Hild. He married Glenda Moran on August 11, 1973. She survives. Tom worked as a mechanic for Volkswagen and later for Hadler International. He was of the Catholic Faith. Tom enjoyed hunting, fishing and CUBS Baseball. He loved attending his grandchildren’s activities.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by:
TWO CHILDREN: Leslie Brink (Brendon) of Payson and Tina Peters (Shawn) of Quincy.
FIVE GRANDCHILDREN: Cameron Brink, Garrett Brink, Dylan Peters (Lindsey Schroeder), Malaina Peters, and Ashlyn Peters.
ONE SISTER: Karen ‘Kay’ Pickett (Don).
Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment in Quincy Memorial Park. Visitation will be Monday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the family. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
