Thomas P. Meulemans
Thomas P. Meulemans, age 60, of Quincy, died on November 27, 2021 in Blessing Hospital. He was born on July 10, 1961 in Rochester, MN the son of Thomas and Kathryn (Saxton) Meulemans. He married Laurie Bigham and she survives.
Mr. Meulemans worked in retail management for many years. In Quincy, he had been the manager of JC Penneys. Tom was of the Catholic Faith. He enjoyed golf and being out in nature. Above all, though, he enjoyed time spent with family.
In addition to his wife, he is also survived by:
CHILDREN: Tiffany Happel (Christopher) of Warrenton, MO, Matthew Meulemans of Quincy and Samuel Meulemans also of Quincy.
SIBLINGS: Kathy Gitto (Stephen) and James Meulemans (Lesley)
Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Naomi Meulemans and a brother Terence Meulemans.
Cremation rites will be accorded. A Celebration of Tom’s life will take place at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or to the Service Dogs for Veterans. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
