Tom was such a blessing to work with. He was always willing to help, no matter what had to be done. And he did it with a cheerful attitude. After retirement, when I would be walking along College Street, often he would be driving by, honking the horn and hollering out the window at us. And he always seemed to know when Klingner was having a cookout and would show up to shoot the breeze. Will miss him and his fun attitude immeasurably. My sympathy to the family for their loss.

Tom was a great mentor to me as a young engineer. He showed me many things from the great many years of experience he had accumulated. I especially remember his fondness for growing hot chilli peppers in his garden. He will be sorely missed for his humor, work ethic, and loyalty. He was a great man with a wonderful family.
