He was a Blessing Hospital volunteer as minister of communion and a member of MEN of Blessing Hospital – for his outstanding service he won the Blessing Hospital ICARE Award.

Thomas loved playing golf and bowling –he also loved to watch golf, baseball, soccer, and football, especially when his children and grandchildren were playing.

Condolences to all the family in the loss of your father. I am sure you will miss him. I see he was born the year my parents were married and born the same day as my birthday only I came 33 years later. Roseann was our babysitter while we still lived in Burlington. Prayers for all of you.

You had loving, devoted parents. They were great people. The kind of folks they were shows in their children. Saying goodbye to them must be difficult. But remember—you will be together again. ❤️

Tom was an excellent boss when I worked at Chanen Auto Supply. Lived with him & Anna in Burlington, Iowa while training in 1963.
