Thomas E. Frank

Thomas E. Frank age 82, of Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Mt. Sterling, formerly of 513 Hampshire St. Quincy, died on Sunday, March 2, 2008 at 3:45 a.m. in the home. Frank was born January 16, 1926 in Jacksonville, IL the son of Paul and Leora ( Souza ) Frank.

Thomas was in the U.S. Navy during World War II serving in the South Pacific he also served during the Korean Conflict..
Thomas was a St. Louis Cardinal Baseball fan and he enjoyed watching t.v.

Survivors include a niece, Rebecca Coulson and her husband Marion of Conroe, TX and their children, Elizabeth and Matthew ;numerous cousins also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Paul Thomas, a sister, Mary Jane Coulson,
and two aunts, Georgia and Leona Souza..

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. in Ebenezer Cemetery near Jacksonville, IL. Rev. Robert Foulk will conduct the services. Military honors will be conducted at the graveside by the Combined Veteran’s Ceremonial Team. There is no visitation, but friends are invited to attend the graveside services.     To the Frank family: Im sure gonna miss Tommy he was one of my favorites to take care of at the NH in Mt.Sterling.Im gonna miss his smile and wanting to go out for a smoke.I took care of him for along time its not gonna be the same without him.Thinking of all of you at this time.All are in my thoughts and prayers.For what he told me one time what he had to go threw when he was in the services he wont have to suffer anymore.God bless each and every one of you for having a great person like Tommy in your life he sure brightened my days at work.
