Theodore “Ted” R. Doellman age 62, of 1520 Spring St. died on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at 11:20 a.m. in Blessing Hospital. Ted was born November 1, 1948 in Quincy, a son of Ralph and Esther (Mueller) Doellman. He married Teri Cronin on June 18, 1977 and she survives.

Ted was most recently employed as a substitute teacher at Quincy High School. He also had managed a local photography store for many years.

Ted served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.
He was a member of St. Francis Solanus Catholic Church and had served there as an usher.
He greatly enjoyed spending time with his family. His pastimes included hunting, fishing and photography. Ted was a talented actor and had appeared in many productions while attending Quincy University and as an adult, at Quincy Community Theatre. He loved acting and received awards for his performances in college and at QCT.

In addition to his wife Teri, survivors also include his sons, Anthony Doellman of Newark, DE; and Daniel Doellman of Quincy;
Brothers, Mike (Pat) Doellman of Pocatello, ID and Tony (Paulette) Doellman of Athens, IL;
a Sister, Martha Doellman of Quincy;
Mother-In-Law, Patricia Cronin of Palos Heights, IL;
Numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home and a funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Francis Solanus Catholic Church by Rev. Don Blaeser, O.F.M. Interment in Calvary Cemetery with military honors conducted by the American Legion Post #37.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Duker & Haugh. There will be a parish prayer service at 7:00 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to the American Lung Association or to the Donor’s Choice.
