OBITUARY ON THELMA FAYE HUDSON

Thelma Faye Hudson, age 70, of West Lake Center in Springfield, IL, formerly of 3800 Columbus Road in Quincy, died on Sunday, February 3, 2008 in Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL. She was born on February 3, 1938 in Moberly, MO the daughter of Harvey & Nannie (Lucas) Hudson. Thelma was a housekeeper and had worked at St. Vincent Home in Quincy, St. Mary Rectory in Mt. Sterling, at St. Mary’s in Quincy and at St. Dominic in Quincy.
She was a housekeeper for Father Louis Shea for 24 years.

Survivors include:
NEPHEWS: Ricki Lee Hudson and his wife Patty of Hannibal, MO; David Hudson and his wife Shirley of Kewanee
BROTHER: Richard Hudson of Bethalto, IL;
TWO SISTERS: Lola Hiland of Mesa Arizona; Wanda Allensworth of Kewanee, IL

She was preceded in death by: her parents, 3 brothers: Leroy, Raymond and Johnny Hudson
& three sisters: Edna Sears, Mary Smith and Lorraine Hudson.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 8, 2008 at 9:45 a.m. in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home and at 10:30 a.m. in St. Anthony Catholic Church. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 4:00 – 6:00 PM with a Parish Prayer Service . Memorials may be made to West Lake Center, 200 West Lake Drive, Springfield, IL 62703.
