Thelma Elaine Herrmann, age 93, of Sunset Home, died on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 in the home. She was born on February 26, 1923 in Marquette, IA, a daughter of William Henry & Lela Matilda (Quarterman) Selleck. She married Warren Robert Herrmann on November 11, 1959 in Quincy. He preceded her in death on October 5, 1985.

In addition to being a homemaker to her family, Thelma also worked at Foam Air Packaging Corp as a factory worker prior to her retirement.

She was of the Methodist faith.

She is survived by:
ONE DAUGHTER, Dorothy “Dottie” Marie Hild of Quincy;
SIX GRANDCHILDREN; and
SEVEN GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN

In addition to her husband, Warren, and her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Carolyn Hoffman Koch & Billy Mae Hoffman; and a brother, Howard Koch.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, August 1, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in Greenmount Cemetery. There is no visitation but friends are invited to the graveside services. Memorials may be made to Sunset Home. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
