Terry K. Laws, age 68, of 1820 State St., Quincy, IL, peacefully passed away in the presence of his family on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 6:01 p.m. Terry was born on February 19, 1947 in Quincy, IL.

Terry worked as a machine operator until changing careers to become an over-the-road team truck driver with his wife, Linda. He continued this until his health forced him to retire. Terry loved to make everyone laugh or torment them in the most kidding, fun ways. Terry liked to metal-detect. His biggest passion in life was fishing with family and friends either just for fun or in tournament competitions.

Terry will be dearly missed by his family, friends and his dog, Sammie.

Terry is survived by his wife Linda of 43 years, three sons, Daniel S. Jones of Monroe City, MO, Darren L. Jones of Keystone, IA and Richard D. Jones of Payson, IL; ten grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and his four-legged best buddy, Sammie that truly misses him.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. There is no visitation but family and friends are invited to the memorial service. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, Blessing Foundation for Hospice or to the American Lung Association. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
