Susan Tuter

Susan Tuter, age 57, of Quincy, died Monday, November 28, 2022 at her home.

She was born August 6, 1965 in Quincy, the daughter of Virgil and Esther Parson Brocksieck. She married Gordon Tuter on March 18, 2014 in Quincy and he survives.

She is also survived by her children, April (Ted) McMahon of Quincy, Justin Vaughn of Quincy and Christina (Eugene) Caldwell of Hannibal, MO; two step-children, Zachary (Annabelle) Tuter of West Point, IL and Emily (Brad) Robinson of Missouri; thirteen grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; siblings, Carolyn Wharton, Marilyn Grems, Doris Bartz, Wayne Brocksieck, Nancy (Randy) Ulrich and Mary Brocksieck; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Debbie Brocksieck.

Mrs. Tuter was a graduate Camp Point Central High School and was employed for over 20 years, in the Quincy area, as a caregiver and personal assistant. She loved collecting unicorn memorabilia, shot glasses and wolf blankets. She also enjoyed fishing and watching wrestling on television.

A funeral service will be held 11:30 AM Friday, December 2, 2022 at Duker and Haugh Funeral Home in Quincy with burial at Greenmount Cemetery. Family will meet friends from 10 AM until time of services at the funeral home on Friday. Memorials are suggested to Quincy Humane Society.     Rip beautiful susan. She was and is an awesome person. She was always full of smiles and I love her laugh . Sure will miss her . My thoughts go out to her kids and grandbabies and family. Much love
