Susan E. Gallaher Glore

Susan E. Gallaher Glore, age 62, of 909 Jersey, died on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 in her home surrounded by her husband and family. She was born on March 29, 1950 in Quincy the beloved daughter of Richard D. & Evelyn J. (Fhel) Tournear.

She married Theodore R. “Ted” Glore on June 18, 1994 at the Salvation Army. He survives. Susan was a bartender at the Silver Moon Tavern for many years. She was of the Methodist Faith.

She liked to play cards, darts and the lottery. Susan loved to watch Bears football and Dodger baseball. She loved her canine companions Mickey, Jed Weiner, and BB. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren. Due to the wonderful care she received, the family thought of Susan’s Hospice caregivers as angels in disguise.

Knight and his wife Pansy; Robert Gallaher, Jr. and his wife Betty, Richard “Rick” Gallaher and his wife Andrea; Randall “Randy” Gallaher and his wife April; James Gallaher and his wife Rhonda; Anthony “Tony” Gallaher and his wife Courtney; Lisa Gooding and her husband Charles; Jodi Gallaher; and Chris Gallaher; Sonia Acosta and her husband Chris; Heidi Brewer and her husband Paul; Theodore “Ted” Glore II; Dawn Welch and her husband Tony; Melissa Dencausse and her husband Marvin.
TWO BROTHERS: David Tournear and his wife Rosemary, and Mark Clinging.
43 Grandchildren, 14 Great-grandchildren
Along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives also survive.

Susan was preceded in death by her father.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 14, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home by the Rev. Gary Zdziarski. Interment in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Quincy Humane Society, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or to the Blessing Foundation for Hospice.

    Dave and family sorry to hear of the passing of Sue. Family and friends will get you through this difficult time. I will keep her in my heart with the memories of the things we did together as kids and the sharing of those birthdays on the same day. Love you and will miss you
