Sue A. Bence

Sue A. Bence age 49, of 202 East Spring St. Camp Point, IL died on Thursday May 8, 2014 at 9:01 p.m. in Blessing Hospital. Sue was born June 7, 1964 in Quincy, a daughter of Raymond Walton and Sue (Borenson) Walton Bridgeman . On June 14, 1991 Sue married Mike Bence and he survives.
Sue was a C.N.A. and had worked at Timberpointe Healthcare Center, prior to her illness. She liked going for motorcycle rides, fishing and camping.

In addition to her husband Mike, survivors also include her father, Raymond Walton of Canton, MO; a son, Cody Bence of Camp Point; a daughter, Mikala Bence of Mt. Sterling, IL; a step-daughter, Mercedes Bence of Quincy.
Two brothers, Eric Walton of Quincy and Mike Walton of Arizona; two sisters, Jean Fikert of Texas and Sherry Walton of Arizona; three grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Lisa Walton; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive.

Sue was preceded in death by her mother and a brother, Rick Walton, grandparents, Norman and Dorothy Jones and one uncle, Norman.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Donor’s Choice.

    Sue gave excellent care to her patients. She was a true pstient advocate. She was full of life. She will be missed greatly.
