Steve M. Clayton
Steve M. Clayton, age 45, of Plainville, IL died on Saturday, October 11, 2014 in his home. He was born on June 25, 1969 in Quincy the son of Roger F. & Barbara J. (Taylor) Clayton. He was a graduate of Quincy Senior High. He married Tina Edmondson on July 26, 1991 in Quincy. She survives. Mr. Clayton was a machinist at Hollister-Whitney Elevator Corp. Steve was a member of First Baptist Church of Plainville. Steve greatly enjoyed hunting & fishing. He also greatly enjoyed his Mustang.

HIS MOTHER: Barbara Morse and her husband Michael
THREE CHILDREN: Jessica Clayton; Mercedes Clayton and Miracle Clayton.
TWO GRANDCHILDREN: Kinsley Davis and Avalyn Clayton
TWO BROTHERS: Scott Clayton and his wife Cheri and Jeff Clayton and his wife Terri
TWO SISTERS: Danita Turnbaugh and her husband Randy and Anita Edwards and her husband Lee.
Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother: Kirk Clayton
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the First Baptist Church in Plainville. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home in Quincy. Memorials may be made to Special Olympics.
