Aunt Elaine, JoElaine, Chuck and Suzette, Michelle, Heather and Stephen and families, I’m so sorry for your loss. I’d like to share this Eskimo Legend with you: “Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather holes in heaven, where the souls of our lost ones look down upon us to let us know they are happy.” Tom and I received those words when we suffered the loss of his 26 year old nephew. We picked a star, toasted it and to this day give it a nod or hello, it helped us and our family deal with our loss. We hope that there is something that will bring some comfort to all of you. I can still hear Steve’s laughter and see his smile.
You’re all in our thoughts and prayers.
Much love, Tom and Becky McClure Cochran
It is with my deepest sympathy that I send you these your loss of Steve. I can so remember both Steve and Suzette from our many years together in school. I enjoyed Steve’s humor and smile. I ask for God’s loving arms to surround all of you and to comfort you.

We were so very sorry to hear of Steve’s passing. Please know that we hold all of you in our prayers and will continue to pray for God’s strength for you all in the days to come.
We are so very sorry that we cannot personally express our condolences to each of you, as we are in Florida until March. But distance does not lessen the embraces we send to each of you.
May God bless and keep you always in His care.

Suzette and Family,
I am so sorry to hear about Steve. He was always so laid back on the golf course (well most of the time 🙂 It pains me that he was so looking forward to retirement years and getting to play golf. He was always, in my opinion, what the definition of “cool” should be. Tanned, sun glasses, loafers with no socks, and enjoying life.
My heart and prayers go to you and your family in this time of sorrow.
Suzette, I offer my sincere your loss of Steve. I just read it and did not know. He was a great man and the city will be at a huge loss without him. He was such a handsome man, and I truly fell awful just finding out now.
Heather & Josh….our prayers continue to be with you and your entire family. Wish I could be there to give you a big hug! Love you guys!
