Stephen Halwig, age 71, of 639 York, died on Sunday, February 9, 2020 in his home. He was born on July 23, 1948 in Olean, NY the son of Richard F. & Jean (Gannoe) Halwig. He married Richard Austin. He survives.

Mr. Halwig was a retired Certified Court Reporter, State of Georgia.

Mr. Halwig was the last of his generation.

Cremation rites have been accorded and no formal services are planned at this time. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
