The good memories Stan helped to create over his 55 years are unmeasurable. So many of us laughed with him, worked with him, and cried with him. He had a heart of gold and while it’s beat has now been silenced, his love and kindness will live on in our hearts for the rest of our lives. Thank you for sharing your Dad, brother and uncle with all of us.

I am so sorry to hear about your father’s death. No matter how old you are, it is hard to lose a parent. I want you to know that I am thinking and praying for your family. Aaron and Drew, I have such great memories of both you boys. If you ever need anything or just want to talk I am here for both you boths. Tell you mom I said hi. I would love to get together sometime.
Again, I am sorry, and you are in my prayers.

    Steve, Margie and Bucky:

Garrelt’s was a bad name in our house, retail and wholesale. They were our competition. After my Dad died in 1975 and as I was using up the paint left over from his retail paint and wholesale business, I needed paint for the hotel and our buildings.

Stan, you and Steve helped me a lot. I looked forward to buying from you and Audry. You were both so friendly, happy, and knowledgeable. To keeep you apart I associated the one with a beard to one of you. I think it was you Steve. Later I just knew who was who.

I remember one of you and the Benjamin Moore man going to lunch at Spring Lake.

I want you to know I am very sorry Stan died. I know there were many problems, but still there were two of you. I liked both of you.

    My deepest sympathy

    Ted Kemner
