Sandra Ann Brassfield
Sandra Ann Brassfield, age 59, of 1420 North 48th, Quincy, formerly of 2129 Cedar, died on Friday, November 30, 2012 at 6:20 PM in her home. She was born on November 25, 1953 in Quincy the daughter of Jack O. & Wanda (Rudewicz) Flachs, Sr. She married Terry Brassfield on August 19, 1972 in St. Boniface Catholic Church in Quincy. He survives. She was a graduate of Quincy Senior High School. Sandra was a homemaker for her family and a lifetime member of the PTA. Sandra was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church.
In addition to the PTA, Sandra was a volunteer at Dewey School and was also a fantastic cook and seamstress.

MOTHER IN LAW: Dorothy Brassfield and her companion John Noble
THREE SONS: Steve Brassfield and his wife Lisa of Poplar Bluff, MO; Mark Brassfield and his wife Gwen of Quincy and Thomas Brassfield and his wife Nicole of Homewood, IL
FIVE GRANDCHILDREN: Makayla Flieg, Isaac Blair; James Brassfield, Madison Brassfield and Eleanor Brassfield.
BROTHERS: Pat Flachs and his wife True; Jack Flachs, Jr. and his wife Sue; Michael Flachs and his wife Theresa; Jay Flachs; Paul Flachs and his wife Kim; and Jeff Flachs and his wife Shelly.
SISTER: Kathy Sherfy and her husband Dave.
BROTHER-IN-LAW: Marvin Moore.
Sandra was preceded in death by her father, a sister Joanie Moore and her father in law: Al Brassfield.
Funerals services will be held on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home by Pastor Chris Lefever. Interment in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home on Monday evening from 4:00 until 8:00 PM. Memorials may be made to Sandra’s Grandchildren’s Education Fund.
