She handled any special event which included Senior Days, Children’s Events, bridal events and more.

Her greatest event was Community Days, held twice annually where non-profit agencies earned money selling booklets. At one time, Sandy had 148 local agencies participating and making Quincy the leading store in the state for this event. For her, Bergner’s was a wonderful place to work. She always remembered the many friendships she made there, especially with Janet Canavan and Tom Rush.

After her retirement, Sandy enjoyed her time volunteering at Blessing Hospital.
