Ruthann Forrest, age 75, of Quincy, died on Thursday, September 1, 2022 in Blessing Hospital. She was born on December 2, 1946 in Fayetteville, NC, the daughter of Charles David and Pauline (Gire) Misner. Ruthann married Terry Lee Forrest on October 16, 1964. He preceded her in death on July 31, 2011.

Ruthann was a homemaker and waitress and a cook at area restaurants.
She loved being with her grandchildren, doing puzzles, traveling and camping with her family.

She is survived by her children: David (Sara) Forrest of Quincy and Theresa (Harold) Hills of Ursa; 17 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren; a sister, Janice (Earl) Wieprecht also survive.

Ruthann was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons, Lonnie and Tony Forrest, a grandson, Justin Telfor and two sisters.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 9, 2022 at 1:00 PM in Evergreen Cemetery in Camp Point. There is no visitation, but friends are invited to the graveside services. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
