Ruth M. Sheurman Service is July 13, 2024, Saturday

Ruth M. Sheurman, age 79, of Liberty, IL passed peacefully on June 24, 2024 at Sunset home. She was born on November 18, 1944, in Quincy, IL the daughter of Louis and Hilda (Hendricks) Campbell. Ruth married Raymond E. Sheurman on November 18,1962 in Liberty IL and he survives.

Ruth was a graduate of Payson Seymour High School. She was a homemaker who was known for her delicious pies. Ruth loved her flowers and anxiously awaited the return of her hummingbirds every Spring. She was an avid collector of Campbell’s Soup memorabilia.

Ruth was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Liberty.

In addition to her husband Raymond, Ruth is also survived by:
A daughter, Tammy Duesterhaus of Quincy, IL. Her sister, Pauline (John) Franks of Liberty IL.
A brother, Doug (Cheryl) Campbell of Plainville, IL.
Grandchildren: Ryan (Casey) Grave of Quincy, IL, Leslie (Devin) Wailes of Quincy, IL.
Great grandchildren: Lillie and Logan Grave, Ella Wailes and many nieces and nephews.

Ruth was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela R. Sheurman. Brothers, Charles, Herbert and Roger Campbell; sisters, Darlene Mintle and Mary Welsh and a sister in infancy. Father and mother-in-law: Elmer and Doris (Weisenberger) Sheurman and a brother-in-law: Richard L. Sheurman.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 12:00 noon at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the services at noon at the funeral home. Interment will be at Xander Cemetery.
