Ruth M. Daniels
Ruth M. Daniels, age 76, of Quincy, died on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 in Blessing Hospital. She was born on November 20, 1946 in Hannibal, MO.
She married Charles Daniels on June 28, 1963 in Quincy. Ruth worked in housekeeping at the Sunset Home. She was of the Christian Faith. Ruth liked to sew and enjoyed drawing. She loved time spent with her family.
In addition to her husband, Ruth is also survived by:
CHILDREN: Rob Daniels of San Antonio, TX and Rick Daniels of Pensacola, FL.
SIBLINGS: Margaret Roush, Karla Dornacher, Deborah Sperry, Jackie Lopez (Ty) and Ron Sperry (Scott).
Numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
Ruth was preceded in death by her father, Karl Smallwood and mother, Mary Curtis Sperry, a daughter Sherri Westfall and a brother William Dameron.
Cremation rites have been accorded and no formal services are planned at this time. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Charles and family, You are in our thoughts. While my mom was in Sunset last year Ruth would stop in and visit with us for a minute. Sure enjoyed seeing her after all these years. She was a wonderful person. She is now visiting my mom, Hazel, who passed Dec 8th. while back at Sunset. Carol and Alan Moore
Charlie SO sorry to hear this. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. Always enjoyed visiting with Ruth when we were at work and we happened to be on the same floor. I will always remember that beautiful smile even when her health started to fail she had that smile. Charlie I’m so terribly sorry for the loss of your beautiful sweet wife. I will truly miss her.
