Roy D. Leckbee, Sr., age 68, of Quincy, died on April 21, 2016 in Blessing Hospital. He was born on February 17, 1948 in Quincy, the son of Thomas and Pearl (Dihl) Davis. He married Elma Forbes on April 10, 1992 in Quincy. She survives.

Roy worked at Titan Wheel. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and all of nature. He also enjoyed woodworking.

He is survived by : five sons; Sgt. Bill McDonald (Becky) of Texas, Harold McDonald of Quincy, Dennis Kimball of Quincy, Roy Leckbee, Jr. of California and Ryan Leckbee of California; three daughters, Jennifer Sparks of Quincy, Susan Coon of Ohio and Robin Leckbee of California; three sisters, Betty Barbosa of Minnesota, Catherine Peters of Kansas and Marilyn Woodcock of Kansas; one brother, Thomas (Mary Jane) Davis of Illinois; four sisters-in-law, Gislea Leckbee of Quincy and Joyce Hulett, Dawn Hulett and Paula Jackson, all of IL; fourteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, John Davis, Bill Leckbee and Delmar Davis, two sisters, Helen Hodges and Rebecca McGraw.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 25, 2016 at 12 noon in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment will be in Kingston Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday morning from 11:00 – 12 noon at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.
