Roxanne Y. Gioviannia, age 70, of Beardstown, formerly of Quincy, died on Friday, May 5, 2023 in Rushville. She was born on May 29, 1952 in Chicago, IL.

Roxanne dearly loved her son and also loved her cats.

Roxanne is survived by:
HER SON : Anthony Gioviannia (Megan)
STEP-MOTHER: Violet Gioviannia
SIBLINGS: Christine Watts, Julie Mudd, Marie Homan, and Tisha Nelson.
GRANDCHILDREN: Stephanie Parker (Demarcus), Anthony Gioviannia, Jr.; Kimberly Gioviannia, Ivan House (Krysta), Emma House (Levi), Owen House (Andrea), Addi House (Matthew) Zander and Savina Gioviannia.
GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Mikaylyn, Kierra, Elijah, Noah, Damarrion, Madilynn, Da’Mariana, Za’Mora, and Braxton.
Nieces, Nephews and other relatives also survive.

Roxanne was preceded in death by her father Frank Jerome Gioviannia, her mother JoAnn (Schuckman) Platt and a brother Jerry Mark Gioviannia.

Cremation rites have been accorded and no formal services are planned at this time. Memorials may be made to Homeward Bound Waggin or to the family to help with expenses. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
