Rosemary Crider Moore
Rosemary Crider Moore 73, of Quincy, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on May 6,2018 at 6:38 a.m. She was born July 18, 1944 in Quincy Illinois to Ruth (Conn) Crider and the late Colonel John Crider Sr.
Rosemary was a accredit nurse who worked at Solder’s Home in Quincy Ill, she also was a licensed Cosmetology Instructor at Flamingo Beauty College Quincy, Ill she later became a small business owner of Marshall’s Janitorial Service in Meridian, MS. Rosemary had lots of hobbies which included fishing, crocheting dolls, sewing specialty pillows she loved to bake and cook while listening to blues and gospel music. Rosemary’s home church was First Baptist Church Quincy Il, she was also a member of New Independent Life Church Meridian, MS
Rosemary is survived by six children who will truly miss her; daughters Luchea O. Thomas with husband Michael, Theresa A. Clark with husband Culver, Deanndra A. Lindsay with husband John, Audra M. Portis with husband Santonio, sons; Ledent D. Humphrey and Sterling D. Moore with wife LaShonta; Mother Ruth Crider; Four sisters Donna Briggins, Adriene Oliver, Cynthia Jones and Michele’ Crider; Five brothers Colonel John Crider Jr., Raefeal Crider, Zachary Crider , Stefan Crider and Kevin Crider; 24 grandchildren, 61 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; and many beloved nieces and nephews, other family and friends.
Proceeding in death by; Grandmother Rosalee Conn, Father Colonel John Crider Sr, Sister Gloria Crider, daughter Sharone Howard, granddaughter ShaTisha Humphrey and great grandson Rayshone Humphrey Jr.
The Celebration of Life will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Madison Park Christian Church. Visitation will be held at Duker & Haugh Funeral Home Monday evening 4-7 p.m. Burial will be at Greenmount Cemetery. Repass will take place at Quincy Senior & Family Resource Center. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that contributions be made to Duker & Haugh Funeral Home
