Rose Marie Wilmot, age 96, of Quincy, died on Friday, June 3, 2022 at Adams Pointe in Quincy. She was born on October 13, 1925, the daughter of Daniel and Mina Berg. Rose Marie married Deane F. Wilmot on July 6, 1946 in Everett, Washington and he preceded her in death on December 17, 2011.

Rose was a registered nurse at Blessing Hospital, working with Dr. William McReynolds until she retired in 1989. She loved to sew, enjoyed traveling and was a member of the Red Hats and Christ Lutheran Church.

Rose is survived by her children: Daniel (Kris) Wilmot of London, KY and Sue Roberts of Quincy; five grandchildren: Chantelle Travis of Quincy, Tim Wheeler of Quincy, Jannean, Jeff and Johnathan Wilmot; nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Leland (Patricia) Berg of AZ, and several nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her husband, Rose was preceded in death by her parents, son-in-law, Richard Roberts, and a brother, Daniel H. Berg.

A committal service will be held on Sunday, June 12, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Christ Lutheran Church. There will be no formal visitation. Memorials may be made to Christ Lutheran Church or Adams Pointe Assisted Living.
