Rose Irene Akers, age 85 of the Illinois Veterans Home, formerly of 1519 Lori Drive in Quincy died on October 29, 2007 at 11:25 PM in the Home. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2007 at 7:00 PM in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. A private burial will take place at a later time. Visitation will be held on Saturday evening from 5:00 PM until the time of the services. Memorials may be made to the Charity of the Donor’s Choice.
