Rose Helen Trimpe

Rose Trimpe age 95, of Quincy died on Friday, November 14, 2008 in Sunset Home. Rose was born May 16, 1913 in Quincy a daughter of Joseph and Rose (Weber) Peters.

She married Joseph Trimpe on August 31, 1935 in St. Mary Catholic Church he preceded her in death on February 23, 1984.

Rose was a homemaker and a housekeeper for many years for private residences in Quincy.

Rose was a member of St. Francis Solanus Catholic Church and the Ladies of St. Francis.
She was a 20 year participant in Water Aerobics at the YMCA and was among the first members of the water aerobics program. She was a skilled needle worker who enjoyed sharing her work with family and friends. Rose will be greatly missed by her friends at card parties and in her card group.

Survivors include:
A son: Roger Trimpe and his wife Joyce of Quincy;
two daughters: Carol Fischer and her husband John of Hazelwood, Missouri
& Donna Prisner of Quincy.
A sister: Alvina (Tiny) Rupp of Quincy;
a brother: Ed Peters and his wife Linda of Quincy.
Grandchildren: Regina Trimpe of Largo, Fl, Shawn Trimpe of Clearwater, FL, Johnda Darby and her husband John of Mexico, MO, Debbie Teson & her husband Eric of St. Charles, MO, Steve Fischer and his wife Anne of Hazelwood, MO, Audrey Campbell and her husband Dirk of Genoa, IL, Shelly Drancik and her husband Dan of Batavia, IL, Theresa Milliron of West Chicago, IL, & Jason Milliron and his wife Meredith of West Chicago, IL. 12 great-grandchildren also survive.

Several nieces, nephews and great-nieces, great-nephews, & cousins also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons-in-law, James Milliron & Richard Prisner, a daughter, Joan Trimpe; brothers, Julius, Ralph, Joe and Carl Peters;
Sisters, Connie Wilson, Gertrude Gunnels, Marie Weichman, Sr. Mary Domitia C.P.P.S. and Lillian Peters.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. in the Duker & Haugh
Funeral Home with the funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. in St. Francis Solanus Catholic Church. with Rev. James Wheeler O.F.M. officiating.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home with a parish prayer service at 6:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to St. Francis Catholic Church or Sunset Home. www.dukerandhaugh.com

    Donna, Jason, Meredith:

    What a wonderful, full, life. At 92 I can only imagine what Rose must have seen and accomplished. Her biggest accomplishmet is the loving kind famiy she leaves in all of you.
