Roberta “Bobbie” Likes

Roberta ‘Bobbie’ Likes, age 89, of Quincy, died on Sunday, October 31, 2021 in the St. Vincent Home. She was born on March 6 1932 in Lewistown, MO the daughter of Clarence and Alice (Merrell) Myers.

Bobbie was a realtor for Davis and Frese Realtors for over 35 years. She was currently employed by State Senator Jil Tracy and State Representative Randy Frese, having worked for Jil since 2009 and Randy since 2015. Bobbie has been a leader in Republican Women’s Association for the past 50 years plus. She was very active in all things political. Among her favorite things were her miniature white poodles, her love for her family and wonderful cousins and the GOP.

Bobbie is surivived by:
HER DAUGHTER: Donna Burke of Quincy; Granddaughters: Candi Fusco of Quincy and Lori Johnson and her husband Jamie of San Bernadino, CA.
A GREAT-GRANDSON: Blake Johnson and his wife Abigail of Wahiawa, HI and their children Caleb of Hannibal, Cohen and Presliegh of Wahiawa, HI. and a GREAT-GRANDSON Brendon Johnson and his wife Ariel of Los Angeles, CA.
A Nephew: Phillip Roberson and his wife Bonnie of Lewistown, MO.
Numerous other relatives including a great-nephew, a great-niece, cousins and an unofficial adopted son Jerry March of Quincy also survive.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents and a sister: Dorothy Roberson along with her husband Louis.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 8, 2021 at 12:00 Noon at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home, Interment in Quincy Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until the time of the services at noon. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Quincy K9 Connection or to the American Lung Association.

    Bobbie was a wonderful friend to my parents and cherished by all of us. She was so vivacious, and her wit, style and passion for her community were inspirational. She’ll be in my heart forever. Very sorry for your loss, and I regret I cannot be there in person for her service.
