Robert L. Wagy, Sr., age 74, of Fowler, died on Saturday, October 15, 2022 in his home. He was born on November 5, 1947, the son of Ralph and Margaret (Simpson) Wagy. He married Susan Jeaneane Squires on March 1, 1968. She survives.

Mr. Wagy served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War., He was employed at the Illinois Veterans Home for some years and then later worked as a truck driver until his retirement.

In addition to his wife, he is also survived by:
TWO SONS: Robert Wagy, Jr. (Melissa Andrews) of Quincy; and Eric Wagy (Amy) of Hamilton, IL.
ELEVEN GRANDCHILDREN
FIVE GREAT GRANDCHILDREN
SIBLINGS: Richard, Joe, Tony and Jerry Wagy.
Numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings Ralph, Barb and Margaret.

Cremation Rites will be accorded. Private family burial will take place at a later date. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
