After meeting Bob at a family party in our farm shop I am honored to have the privilege of talking with him. What a humble and sincere man! He truly is one of the greatest generation! I have so much to learn from men like him. Enjoy your rewards in heaven, Bob.

My condolences to the entire family. Mr. Schlepphorst was my 6th grade teacher at Irving and I have never forgotten the life lessons he taught as well as the reading, writing, and arithmetic. He was one of a kind; he cared deeply about his students and provided opportunities and an environment for us to learn. I saw him last just a few years ago and he asked me about some of my classmates – he remembered that we were sometimes difficult to handle! I will continue to keep the family in my thoughts and prayers.

My sympathy to the family. I met Bob through my dad who worked with him at Berrian for many years, and later I enjoyed teeing it up with him out at Westview, and always enjoyed seeing him at the QU basketball games. He’ll be missed, but leaves many with good memories.
