Robert W. Friye, age 83, of Mabank, TX passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022. Robert was born in Quincy, IL October 5, 1938; to parents, Ernest Theodore Friye and Mary Francis Feld, Robert had a huge and caring heart; one that could make lifelong friends everywhere he went. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Robert will be greatly missed by all of those he touched in his lifetime.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest T. Friye and Mary F. Feld; brothers, Ernie Friye and Richard Friye; as well as his sisters, Marie Duesterhaus and Dolores Numann.

Robert is survived by his sister, Dorothy Wetzbarger of Brush, CO, several nieces and nephews and numerous close friends.

Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery on Friday, September 30, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Friends are invited to attend. Services are in care of Duker & Haugh Funeral Home.
