I only had the pleasure of knowing Rob for one semester at Illinois State, but he was one of the kindest and sweetest men in the geology department. He was wonderful to be around, and made the geology trip to West Texas and New Mexico last Spring a fun and hilarious one 🙂 I am honored that I got to meet him, even for such a short time. You are in our thoughts and prayers. We’ll miss you Rob!!
