I remember going to school with Rob at Greenfield when we were little. All the slumber parties at your house and the summer nights we all had fun. He will be missed by all. My deepest sympathy to your family.

I only had the pleasure of knowing Rob for one semester at Illinois State, but he was one of the kindest and sweetest men in the geology department. He was wonderful to be around, and made the geology trip to West Texas and New Mexico last Spring a fun and hilarious one 🙂 I am honored that I got to meet him, even for such a short time. You are in our thoughts and prayers. We’ll miss you Rob!!

We are truly sorry for your loss of Robert. While we didn’t know him personally, it appears he was a super young man who gave endlessly of his time and talent to those he encountered in his young life. We lived close to his family for a time, and know that he was loved and will be greatly missed. May he rest in peace.
