My prayers and thoughts are with each and every one of you–Amy, Stanley, Carl, Rosann, Joan, Paul, Ed, and Rich. Bob was always “dad” to me (as Betty, you were always “mom.”) I was truly blessed to have known such a great man. I have very fond memories of visiting the Lentz farm (It always amazed me how so many could share one bathroom!). 30+ years ago when little Amy Ruth came to Seymour Elementary and became my locker partner we immediately became friends for life and I felt I had gained another great family as well. Your house was always so welcoming with Betty always baking something tasty and Bob always greeting me with his well-known and cherished “booming” voice. He usually asked me how my dad’s crops and cows were to which I always gave my honest anwswer, “I don’t know.” (I truly was never much of a farm girl!) Bob is where he needs to be and I know he’s just sitting back right now, reclining, and getting his much deserved rest, and getting ready to use his loving, booming voice to welcome each of us to Heaven when our time comes.

I love you all very much. Thanks for sharing “Bob” with me! Love, Danette

My thoughts are with you during this time of grief. My brother and I went to school in Payson, Carl was in my class and Greg graduated in 82. I’m truly sorry for your loss.

Joan, I will always remember dad’s deep voice as he came into the office now and then and asked to see you. I didn’t have to look up, I always knew that voice. You are so blessed to have had such good parents and you are the product of their excellent parenting skills. God’s Blessings to you and your families.

God didn’t promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun without rain, but he did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears and light for the way.

    Love you,
    Sharon

I WORKED WITH BOB ON SEVERAL CURSILLO WEEKENDS. I LOVED THIS MAN’S SIMPLE AND LOVING OUTLOOK ON LIFE. HE WAS TRULY A GOOD MAN IN ALL WAYS, AND I WILL MISS HIM, BUT I WILL REMEMBER HIS KIND VOICE FOREVER. JOHNB.
