Carlene and family, I send my sympathy to you upon the death of Bob. I remember him as a person with a kind heart and a great sense of humor. A person one could trust and admire. Even though it has been a long time since I’ve see you, you and Bob were daily in my prayers. I feel certain he now resides in the eternal kingdom of the Triune God. Blessings upon you. Jim Neuman
Carlene and all, you know you and Bob were part of our family. I always looked forward to the visits when mom and dad and I would come to Quincy to visit, then the few opportunities I had when I had to come by myself. He always would make me laugh and was the steady hand of guidance with regards to the farm. The world is smaller today without him, but its good to know he is back out there, walking his land, free and healed again.
Carlene, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. have fond memories of you from Notre Dame Class of ’57s and all those long nights at Motorola. I will add you and your family to our prayers.
How sad it is to think about my big “Yellow Bird,” being gone. He will be missed by many, but to think he is at peace, and in heaven with many other family members hopefully makes it a little easier for all who knew and will miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with you Carlene, David, Danny, and the rest of the family, love you all!
I am so sorry for your loss Carlene. I know that all of us in the Grubb family will deeply miss his counsel and friendship as will you. God bless you and keep you. Pat Mount
Mrs. Neuman, we are so sorry for your loss. We looked a house you had available a few years ago and truly enjoyed meeting you and your husband. He was quite the character and a very nice guy. Heaven has another beautiful angel. Your family is in our prayers.
Carlene, I will miss talking with Bob on Sundays at Mass. My sympathy to you and your family. Dick McKinney
