Robert L. “Bobby” Vaughn

Robert L. “Bobby” Vaughn, age 68, of Quincy, died on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 in Blessing Hospital. He was born on October 21, 1945 in Granite City, IL the son of Glen & Katherine (Inskip) Vaughn. Bobby worked for Coca-Cola for 26 years. He then later worked for Quincy Recycle until his retirement. Bobby enjoyed fishing and camping.

He is survived by:
ONE DAUGHTER: Priscilla Gilker
HIS SIBLINGS: Louise Powell, Carrie Miller, Sharon Irwin, Treva Nieders and her husband Paul, Floyd Vaughn and his wife Donna, Melvin Vaughn and his wife Beverly, Charles Vaughn and his wife Lenora and Dovie Traw.
HIS LONG TIME COMPANION: Gracie Kaltenbach
Also surviving are grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters Betty Jackson and Norma Morcum and 3 brothers: James, Glen and Howard Vaughn.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 3, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment in Park Lawn Cemetery in Barry, IL. Visitation will be held on Monday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the services. Memorials may be made to the Blessing Foundation for Hospice or to the Blessing Cancer Center.
