Robert C. Marshall

Robert C. Marshall, age 82, of the Sunset Home, died on January 8, 2019 in Blessing Hospital. He was born on October 11, 1936 in Quincy, IL the son of Robert & Marie (Knuffman) Marshall. Robert was married to Deanna Durbin Marshall for over 25 years. He worked for numerous years at Davis Cleaver. He also was a long time commercial fisherman.

Robert was of the Christian faith. His primary loves in life were being around family and friends telling stories, fishing and coffee.

He is survived by:
EIGHT CHILDREN: Debbie Marshall (Kenny Vahle) of Quincy; Jody Dodge of Bettendorf, IA; Donna Reardon of West Point, IL; Ricky Bauman and his wife Sarah of Quincy; Michelle Hull and her husband Roger of Barry, IL: Jason Bauman and his wife Heather of Liberty; Teresa Marshall of Quincy and Allyssa Brown also of Quincy.
Eight Siblings, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Luther Memorial Church. A luncheon is to follow the services. Cremation rites were accorded. Memorials may be made to the family. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
