Robert Ray Bridgman, age 61, of Quincy, died on Saturday, July 20, 2024 in his home. He was born on September 17, 1962 in Quincy, the son of Raymond and Sharon (Bridgman) Bridgman. He graduated from Quincy High School. In 2001, Mr. Bridgman took over as owner and operator of Bridgman’s New and Used Furniture from his father. He then later worked at Dollar General.

Robert was big hearted but stubborn and would help anyone he could.

Robert is survived by:
TWO CHILDREN: Jesse (Crystal) Bridgman, Nicole (Damien) Zajac.
GRANDCHILDREN: Aaron Vaughn, Logan Andrews, Stormy Hillyer and Dylan Zajac.
Brother in Law John Hardy and Sister in law Crystal Bridgman.
Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Brittany Vaughn, brother William ‘Bill’ Bridgman and a sister Linda Hardy.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, July 29, 2024 at 1:30 PM in Greenmount Cemetery. There is no visitation but friends are invited to the graveside services. Memorials may be made to help with expenses. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
