Robert A. “Robbie” Giuliani

Robert A. “Robbie” Giuliani, II, age 50, of Quincy, formerly of Bloomington, died on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 in Blessing Hospital. He was born on September 28, 1967 in Berwyn, IL the son of Robert A. and Aggie (Stephan) Giuliani.

Robbie graduated from Quincy High School and Illinois State University. He was employed at the Copy Shop in Bloomington for seventeen years.

He was an Eagle Scout and loved the Chicago Cubs and Dallas Cowboys. Robbie was an international traveler, and especially loved traveling to Paris and enjoying fine dining whenever possible. He loved music and collecting albums.

Although Robbie had muscular dystrophy, he never complained and faced his health challenges with incredible grace, often saying, “it is what it is”. Robbie had many wonderful friends, and these friendships he valued deeply.

Robbie is survived by his parents, Robert and Aggie of Quincy, his girlfriend, Inga; aunt, Carole Stephan, cousins and his special dog, “Boston Vinney”.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jean and August Giuliani and maternal grandparents, Laura and James Stephan and his brother Michael Giuliani.

A visitation will be held on Monday, July 16, 2018 from 4:00 until 6:30 p.m. in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Quincy Humane Society or Muscular Dystrophy Research at Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio.
