Richard T. “Rick” Lenane, age 58, formerly of Quincy and Marcelline, IL, died on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 in Timber Pointe Health Care Center in Camp Point, IL. He was born on November 15, 1955 in Quincy, a son of Paul & Mary (Ludwig) Lenane.

Rick was employed for seventeen years with the Quincy Fire Department. He retired in 1994 due to disability.

He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.

He is survived by:
His mother, Mary Rose Lenane of Quincy
Two children, Laura Unglesbee and her husband Luke of Macomb, IL and Tom Lenane and his wife Holly of Quincy;
Six grandchildren, Ryley, Natalee, Caleb, Levi, Carter and Kilee
Two brothers, Dan Lenane and his wife Deborah and Tim Lenane and his wife Donna, all
of Quincy
Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home and at 10:00 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church by Msgr. Michael Kuse. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
