Richard Lee Hudson, age 81, of Pittsfield, IL, died on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 in Hannibal, MO. He was born on December 9, 1935 in Moberly, MO the son of Harvey H. & Nannie Hudson. Richard worked in construction and roofing.

Richard enjoyed traveling and loved animals such as his dog Max, and his cats Oreo and Smokey. He loved the Grand Canyon and Colorado.

He is survived by nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his long-time companion Virginia Harris and all of his siblings.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 3:30 PM in Greenmount Cemetery. There is no visitation but friends are invited to the graveside services. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
