Richard Frank Venvertloh
Richard Frank Venvertloh, age 90, of Quincy, died on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 in his home. He was born on January 3, 1933 in Quincy, the son of Edward and Zeta (Grawe) Venvertloh. Richard served in the United States Army from 1953 until 1955. He married Mary Lou Martin on April 20, 1963. She survives. Mr. Venvertloh retired from the United States Postal Service in 1991.
Richard enjoyed gardening, games on the computer, Cardinal baseball, lottery tickets, and fish on Friday. His Catholic Faith was very important to him. He prayed the rosary twice daily.

GRANDCHILDREN: Melanie (Andrew) Howe, Denise (Cory) Davis; Katie (Jacob) Clements; Brooke (Justin) Ebbing; Abigail Venvertloh, Eric Venvertloh; Chase Venvertloh, Stephanie (Scott) Altgilbers; Steven Stoll, Sara (Zach) Cook, Tiffany Schoenekase; Jenna Schoenekase; Jordyn Schoenekase; Tricia Venvertloh, Jeremiah Baselice, Giovanni Baselice; Adam Venvertloh, Myah Venvertloh and Leah Venvertloh.
18 Great-grandchildren with an additional great-grandchild coming in July.

ONE SISTER-IN-LAW: Mary Kay Venvertloh of St. Charles, MO
Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, a son-in-law: Daryl Stoll, a brother Roger Venvertloh and sisters-in-law: Kay Venvertloh and Anita Venvertloh and a nephew.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 9:30 AM in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home and at 10:00 AM in St. Francis Catholic Church. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 26, 2023 evening from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to St. Francis Catholic Church.

Teresa Stoll , I’m so sorry for your loss. I’ll remember him & your mother being at the farm’s market everyday it was open no matter where it was & no matter what the weather was. At that I didn’t know that they were your parent until Jana Orr told me. You & your family with me in my prayers & thoughts. I wish I lived closer to you .& was able to drive because I would gladly come to see & bring food.
