I’ve known Richard since he lived at the end of Nix street in Amarillo, Texas. I reconnected with his in the last 6 or 7 years and it was the highlight of my day to converse with him. R.I.P. my friend.
Richard Bunney was one of the nicest guys at Best Buy. When he worked the front door he was the first smiling face you would see. A pleasant greeting and a high five were common. It was always great to talk sports and Texas even though I wasn’t into sports and had never been to Texas, that didn’t matter. Bunney was great at his job and loved to teach others what to look for and the process for Asset Protection at the store. One of my favorite things that I will remember him saying was “People call me Big Dick Bunney”! Rest easy my friend, you could always make us laugh and always were a listening ear. It’s too bad we never got to see a football game together. I’m so glad to see you are with Jesus now. Until we meet again.
Richard was a friend of mine who I will miss I was diagnosed with breast cancer and we both helped each other through our battle rest in peace my thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones.
