Richard and I where shipmates on the USS Mindanao. We met again at the 50th reunion.

Hello Evelyn. My condolences to you and your family.
Melody and I are very sorry to here about Rich’s passing. I had talked with Jim Peters ealier last week after he had visited Rich. We were shocked when we heard this. As you know we played golf with Rich in the couples league for many years. We always enjoyed his antics and sense of humor. It was always pretty easy to get a Cubs/Cardinals comment from him. He was a great asset to the Knights of Columbus. He will be missed greatly by all of us.

We are so sorry for your loss. Trent and I only got to meet your dad a couple of times, but it was enough to see how awesome of a man he was. We will remember him for a very long time!
